Hi Everyone,

My name is Sonia Ponnusamy and I am a fellow graduate who is working with Acey Welch and the Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women (ANHW) to launch a Discussion/Social Group (DSG) in Hong Kong.

 The purpose of the group is to build a personal connection among ANHW members and Harvard alumni and to provide a platform for addressing issues of particular concern to women in the Harvard community and beyond. 

 We’ll do this by organizing casual, no-fee or self-supporting meet-ups and events at restaurants, homes or offices, and by investigating joint events with other Harvard Alumni Shared Interest Groups, Harvard Clubs, etc. We expect to plan 2-3 such gatherings per year, although this number may increase with enough interest and volunteer assistance.

 Our first gathering will be brunch on Saturday 11th May at 12.30 at Rummin’Tings (28 Hollywood Road, Central). We’ll use the time to get acquainted and decide how to move forward with types of activities, events, etc.
